Last night I took my family out to eat at the Heroes Bar & Grill in Fullerton. We have been here before and know they have an energetic atmosphere and really good burgers. Being a Saturday we knew we would have to wait to get seated. The first challenge was to get through the door with all the people waiting for tables. There was no one to greet or take our name. On of the other guest told us to just catch a waiter. That is just what I did. When finally the worker who did have the list of names came to the front I asked him if he had my name and he did. OK, time to chill and wait.
We noticed that all the people we had come in with got tables except us. After over an hour waiting I approached the worker who had the list and told him that I had been waiting for over an hour. His comment was “and your point is” in a very sarcastic manner. Now I’m annoyed. I asked him if he talks to all of his customers this way and he just stares at me and eventually asked me “what I want”. I told him that I would like to be treated politely. At this point I asked to see the manager and he informs me he is the manager. So I ask to see the owner and he informs me he is the owner. Now at this point I know I am not giving this place any of my hard earned money. I looked at the supposed owner and simple and quietly tell him “God help you”. I turned and headed to the door with my family to a barrage of “fuck you” from the supposed owner.
I did some research and the owner is Jack Franklyn, I do not know what he looks like or if the person I dealt with was the owner or not. If he was, I’m shocked. If he is not, then we all need to do him a favor and let him know what goes on in his business.
